My client, Brittany, is a food, gardening, and lifestyle blogger based out of Marietta, Georgia. She had already been using presets for a while, and once we got to talking, we knew her brand photos needed to match. My default light and airy editing would not work for her brand.
Brittany, having the day job of a marketing director, was an absolute rockstar during the photoshoot planning process. We had each scene and outfit ready with a list of potential props we’d use. The prop list ended up being my favorite part of the day.
Because Brittany’s photo shoot took place at her home, we had unlimited authentic props to play with. From a harvest basket to a shovel to a watering can, Brittany’s audience gains a real-life perspective of her home and garden through these images. I say this all the time – the planning matters! The small, insignificant items will bring your images to life!
